Sales Manager: Inside Sales

Ambition Data is seeking a sales operations manager with digital customer or marketing analytics experience who can make our sales systems fly. Your sales operations skills should be 30% sales intelligence gathering, 30% live prospect contact and nurturing, 30% technical flows such as lead scoring. This position requires strong business development and organizational skills as well as an entrepreneurial mindset.

This position works directly with our CEO in our Portland, OR office.

Supporting skills you should have:


  • Deep familiarity with marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)

  • Deep familiarity with the pain felt by digital marketers

  • Deep familiarity with the sales process

  • Deep familiarity with social media platforms

  • Deep understanding of MS office communication tools (word, powerpoint) and Gsuite tools

  • Some familiarity with email marketing automation tools (e.g. Hubspot)

  • Some familiarity with contracting



Where we want to go with those skills:


  • Be able to quantify your pipeline so that together we can improve the process

  • Be able to work the lead pipeline appropriately, prepare and schedule qualified leads for the CEO for closing, manage the closing documents

  • Be able to nurture LOTS of conversations at once and seek to be helpful



  • Operationalize the sales process.

  • Hire more people to do what you do.
